Registering for a class (cont.)

How to register for an entry-level class

You may wish to print this page before you begin.

  1. Click Approved Classes (top menu) to find a list of all available class types.
  2. Choose one of the entry-level class types.
  3. Select a class by clicking on the date of the class.
  4. Click Login Here at the bottom of the page.
  5. If you already have an account on SOTN.GameOfficials.net, log in and then go to #14. If you do not yet have an account, go to #6.
  6. Click New User (on left)
  7. Click I have NEVER BEEN registered.
  8. Check the box "I meet the requirements above and I am ready to create a new account," and click Continue
  9. Enter the requested information. Make sure to pick a username and a password that you will remember. When finished, click SAVE (Create New Account) at the bottom of the page.
  10. Carefully read whatever pops up, and respond accordingly until you are taken to the login screen . . . and then login.
  11. You will be asked to agree with the terms listed on the webpage. Please do so.
  12. You will be given the option of selecting three security questions. Whether you do this or not is up to you. Click Continue when you are ready for the next page.
  13. Confirm or complete your personal information and then click SAVE (Modify User) at the bottom of the page.
  14. Information about the class you chose in step #3 will now appear on your screen. If you wish to register for this class, select Click Here to Register for this Class
  15. Provide the requested information and click SAVE (Add Registration) at the bottom of the page.
  16. On the next page, choose Click Here to Complete the Employment/Volunteer Disclosure Statement.
  17. Provide the requested information and select SAVE (Complete Disclosure) at the bottom of the page.
  18. Select a payment method and provide the requested information.
  19. Confirm your method of payment by clicking Confirm Payment Method.


If everything went as it was supposed to go, you will receive an email summarizing your class registration. Print the email and bring it with you to class.

If you do not receive an email, once again go to GameOfficials (top menu) and login (if necessary). If you are registered for the class, the class will be listed on your homepage. If this is the case, your email address probably was entered incorrectly. Please select "My Info" (left menu bar) and correct your email address and other information as needed. You are now finished with the class registration.

If you do not receive an email and you are not registered for the class, try registering again: Click "Approved Classes" (top menu), choose the correct class type, click the correct class, and then select Click Here to Register for this Class at the bottom of the screen. Continue following the online instructions until you can confirm your method of payment.
